Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, beat butter for about 20 seconds.

Add sugars, and beat for about 30 seconds. 

Next, add egg yolk, and vanilla then mix until just combined.

Whisk flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder in another bowl.

Sprinkle in butter mixture, and beat just until combined.

Stir in the chocolate chips and M&Ms.

Scoop the dough into 12 dough balls, and space evenly on baking sheet.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for 1 minute then move them to a wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
