Apple Cinnamon Bread


1 granny-smith apple, peeled and chopped

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/3 cup brown sugar

2/3 cup white sugar

1/2 cup softened butter

1/2 cup milk

2 large eggs

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

1 3/4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon powder

Pre-heat the oven to 350, then grease butter and dust a loaf pan with flour.

Mix brown sugar with cinnamon and set aside.

Beat sugar and butter in a bowl with a blender until smooth and fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time and beat them until well blended, then add vanilla.

In another bowl, mix flour with baking powder and whisk in butter.

Add milk to the butter and mix until creamy.

Pour half of the batter into the bread pan.

Then add half of the apples and half the cinnamon mixture with brown sugar.

Push the apple mixture onto the dough.

Pour in the left over batter then top with apples and more brown sugar-cinnamon combination.

Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Let it cool for 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
